About Basketball Stars
Basketball Stars is the most conventional basketball game in this catalogue: proper 1v1 with dribble moves, pump fakes, blocks and a shot meter. Unlike the Random series, outcomes here are earned — a player who learns the crossover and the block timing will beat a button-masher every time.
Matches are short halves against the computer or a second player on the same keyboard, which keeps it in the same slot as the physics games while offering a real skill ceiling.

Tips for a better score
- Release the shot at the top of the jump; the meter is tighter than it looks.
- Pump fake before a contested shot — the AI commits to the block almost every time.
- Steal attempts leave you flat-footed. Only reach when the ball is exposed on a dribble.
- Dunks are worth the same as layups but are far harder to block, so drive when you have the lane.
