About House of Hazards
House of Hazards splits the room in two: one player tries to complete a list of household tasks, the other triggers every trap in the house to stop them. Doors slam, sprinklers fire, the toaster launches — and then you swap roles.
It is one of the few genuinely asymmetric two-player games in the browser, and it works because both roles are fun. Blocking is as satisfying as finishing.

Tips for a better score
- As the runner, do the tasks farthest from the traps first while your opponent is still positioning.
- As the trapper, do not fire everything at once; save one trap for the final task.
- Sound cues telegraph traps a beat before they trigger — learn them and you can walk straight through.
- In single-player, the AI trapper follows a fixed pattern you can memorise.
